Public skool has a wide variety of peeps to witness to and more of an influence on everyone, both positive and negitive. I think public peeps are more socialable, and arent so sheltered. Ive been in public skool since kindergarden, so 12 years of experience and none for private. Private does seem more sheltered, and at public features kids, more diverse in economics, and backgrounds. i understand private skools are great and have flaws too, but I just think that public has the diversity, since anyone can gp there. Pros of Public: More oppertunities to witness, able to make more friends since they are larger. Cons of Public: More outside influences, not so positive.

That is true but this may sound kinda crazy but some people like the students look down on others if they are more than a christian. you know they just want him in their heart and there ya go. and if you strive any closer they are like hey your a loser whatever and they leave you. and i honestly dont like private with my whole life there. you dont have any freedom at all. and i could just babble on with all the bad things but hey we want to be fair. but i do like it that if you are crying the teacher can hug you and we open everyday to the pledge of the American Flag, Christian Flag, and the Bible, then prayer. and we learn scriptures we have a prayer time. we have worship once a week, small classes, the teachers can give out there home numbers, you can pray with them, you can carry a Bible around and even read it,the teachers actually tell you if you are crying and its like 4 in the morning call me or if your in major trouble i will come and get you, thats some of the things i like about it, and the teachers give advice from a Godly standpoint.

not all private skools are christian though. i guess its easy to say that public is worse, but all skools have flaws. I think due to the mass number of unsaved in public, that it is a bigger battleground so more souls to win

Why can't you?
And I go to a christian private school and it is no where near perfect...but we have some willing people who want to serve Christ and make a difference and that is good. I am looking for change. <3

kids that you see growing? I hate to dogg you(criticize you) but, why are you judging others? I mean you really don't know their hearts and really dont know how strong they are spiritually. someone might have a bad day and curse and you could say "He's not spiritually right" but then again, have yo unot also said curse words before? I mean I know this is really off subject but for future reference, dont judge others and say they arent growing as Christians. They might be growing more than you realize. And to your comment, yes you can reach everyone. it is very hard, i mean i can honestly promise you that there is more unsaved kids at public that i cant feel like i can witness too, but God gives us all the same power to minister to the world, it never will change.

I'm not sure she was trying to judge Jason. I think she was saying that those were the only people that she SAW growing. I agree sometimes people are growing more then you think... I have a friend that is a christian and he loves God...but he still cusses and say somethings that kind of contridict it. But I talked to him about it...and the thing he said to me..was that even if you want to you don't suddenly get really spiritual. It takes time...especially if that person has had a bad background. I know what you're saying Amber. But there is a time that you have to stop 'judging' and just going by what you see and start communicating and sharing what you know with others. You CAN minister in a smaller school.....you just have to find the right way. You aren't the only one who has crazy 'bad' people in their school/class. We all have it..and it's just a part of life. We've just gotta ask God how to minister to them. I don't know if this made any sense...I hope it did. <3

Ok looks like yall need another person to jump in. Ok. So I have gone to Public School ALL my life. I graduated from a Public High School.Basicly my kids are NOT going to a public school. Unless it is in God's will. I know it may seem like I want to shelter my kids...well truth be known I do sort of I mean I want them to know stuff..but I deffinatly do not want my kids learning about certain things like drugs, sex ect. at such a pace as I did. Also another reason for me wanting to place my children in a private school is for the simple reason that public education is beggining to suck hardcore. Also in a private school they have a more close nit surrounding as Amber said where the teachers are more of a one on one basis ya know. I understand that teachers are not only there to teach you just simply your lessons but they are also there to help you cope with life in general. If yall get what I mean. Back to the sheltering thing I'm not just going to leave my kids in that closed bubble of a private school I will most likely enroll them in sports and other outside extracurricular activities. Just so they can be well rounded. After all aren't you suppossed to be raising your kids to be productive citizens. And most kids that come out of public schools are too drugged up to even graduate. Its the harsh reality. But hey this is the world we live in. I also agree that there are plenty of kids in Public schools that need to have witnesses. But do you realize what kids go to theses private schools. Also...there are PLENTY of non- christian private schools. They need witnesses also.
