For those of you using the ISP "Roadrunner", you may have noticed some webpages are unviewable, while your friends are chatting away about what they're see'ing on the page. After a while, talking to some people in an IRC chat room with the same problem, we all figured out we all use RoadRunner, and so some of us dialed up the main office, and others joined the Tech Support Chat Rooms on the RoadRunner website.

AndrewM> Thank you for choosing Road Runner Technical Chat. My name is Andrew, could I have the first and last name, and the phone number with the area code of the account holder as well as the master email address please?
LeondisEvans> Landry evans phone not hooked up yet evansl19
AndrewM> Thank you, and with whom am I speaking currently?
LeondisEvans> are some of your ftp severs down
LeondisEvans> leonds
AndrewM> Which site are you trying to access?
LeondisEvans> a game beta called fom
LeondisEvans> other road runner customers having same problem only isp with problem
AndrewM> We are aware of a routing issue outside of the Road Runner Network that may be causing this.
AndrewM> Do you have the IP address of the server you are trying to access?
LeondisEvans> yes
WeiX> Some of our customers may not be able to surf to certain websites due to a routing issue outside of the RR Network. It's mainly due to a high level network restructuring and sites that are hosted on the affected network should become available again when the restructuring is complete. We currently have no ETA on resolution. I apologize for the inconvenience.
After alot of trial and error testing to figure out what's been being blocked, we, alongside with the Tech people at roadrunner, figured out that Road Runner blocks the following Inbound ports:
135 DCE endpoint resolution, 136 PROFILE Naming System, 137 NETBIOS Name Service, 138 NETBIOS Datagram Service, 139 NETBIOS Session Service.
And Outbound: 445 Microsoft-DS, 593 HTTP RPC Ep Map, 67 BOOTP, Bootstrap Protocol-server, 68 BOOTP, Bootstrap Protocol-client.
Another friend of mine summed it up like this:
So, patience. If you've been having trouble looking at one of your favorite sites and it's been seeming like it's down, and you're using Road Runner, then do not fret, it's just you
Oh, btw, If you ARE using RoadRunner, my Avatar and Signiture will not work, because Photobucket (Where I am hosting both pictures) is blocked by RoadRunner, and it blocks the pictures from being seen by you. Everyone else can see it just fine though

Theres nothing we can do or roadrunner actually, the problem is part of gobal provider network, basically all the servers and routers outside of roadrunners network which are part of the global provider see it as the backbone of the internet, a certain number of them might being fixed or replaced, not much they can do other than trying to reroute around them which might take a while to do, so all you can do is whait and hope that they either reroute or that the global provider fixes them .So, patience.
